RTB Bearings consist of a L-shaped inner ring completed with a washer, an outer ring, two roller thrust bearings and a cylindrical roller bearing, full complement.
Unitec has modified the inner design of RTB Bearings and therefore load-carrying capacity and stiffness values may differ from the ones of past designs indicated on previous catalogues.
The axial and radial load ratings have been calculated according to UNI ISO 76 and UNI ISO 281 standards, by using factors suitable for high quality steels and specific heat treatments connected with these bearing types.

RTB Bearings (standard design) are designed for high precision applications like indexing tables or positioning spindle heads. RTB Bearings are available in two different series:
RTB*** – ungreased
The bearing is wrapped in oil-paper, completely cove-red with a protective oil film. Customer must provide for an adequate oil or grease lubrication. For this pur- pose, bearings have radial holes on the inner and outer rings
RTB***-G greased
The bearing is pre-lubricated with Lithium soap based grease (cSt 150 at 40°C) – approx. 40% filling.
If a different grease is requested, we suggest to ask for a non lubricated design and then to fill with the requested grease through the lubrication hole.
